Dr. Royal attended Baylor University where she got her Undergraduate degree in Business Education and her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. She also earned her Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University. Dr. Royal’s main focus is marriage, couple, trauma, family, anxiety and depression counseling.
Assessments: I am a certified Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis® (T-JTA®) counselor. The T-JTA® is one of the most widely used assessments for individual, pre-marital, marital, and family counseling. The T-JTA® measures 18 dimensions of personality (9 bipolar traits) that are important components of individual adjustment and interpersonal relationships. The T-JTA® has been used for more than 50 years by thousands of counseling professionals in a wide array of settings in the U.S. and around the world to help people understand themselves and others in their lives.
I am also a Prepare-Enrich® (P/E®) facilitator. P/E® is the number one premarital and marriage assessment for couples. P/E® adapts and reacts to the changing reality of relationships through continued research and development of assessment versions and resources. The reliability of the assessment and feedback guided by our Facilitators help couples strengthen and enrich their relationships.
